The financial policies of Journal of Plant Science and Phytopathology are structured to ensure transparency and fairness while upholding the ethical integrity of the publication process. The journal is committed to providing authors with a seamless and professional publishing experience.

Once an author has completed the payment for the Article Processing Charges (APCs), the fee is considered non-refundable. If an author chooses to withdraw a submitted manuscript after making the payment or retracts after an advance payment but before the final amount is settled, a refund will not be granted.

Editorial and production processes commence immediately upon manuscript submission, including initial evaluation, peer review management, formatting, and editorial assistance. Since these tasks require significant time and resources, refunds cannot be issued once the process has begun.

However, in exceptional cases such as duplicate payments, technical transaction errors, or incorrect charges, a refund request may be considered. Authors must formally submit a request in writing along with proof of payment. Each request will be reviewed by the Editorial Board before a decision is made.

To avoid any inconvenience, authors are encouraged to carefully review all payment details and terms before proceeding with transactions. Journal of Plant Science and Phytopathology remains committed to maintaining ethical financial policies while ensuring a smooth and efficient publishing experience.
